Perfume ♀

I have this ligitimate fear of EVER smelling bad. I have no idea why? If I am ever around someone that smells a little bit funny I just ignore it and think nothing of it, for me to smell bad... Now that would be the end of the world! 

I have been complimented several times on my perfumes, what perfume I wear, and how do I smell so good? (tooting my own horn) ;) 

Here I will release my secret scents, and why they are my favorite. 

Alot of girls thought I wore just one perfume, which makes me feel kind of sad because they're all very different perfumes, but maybe it's just hard to differentiate a persons own body scent when combined with any perfume? Any way-

I like to mix my perfumes. I wear locally made perfumes on my neck, chest, and upper back. Just to bring in a lovely subtle sent that will last all day. These perfumes are oil based, so if perfume spoils on your skin these puppies are for you! They're literally amazing, I don't quite remember the story the guy told me, but I think he went on an LDS mission to India where they copy designer scents and create an oil based perfume that does not lose it's scent throughout the day. When I first met him (in 2012) I thought it was a bunch of crazy talk so I bought 3 for $20 (I believe) tried em' out, and they're STILL kickin it today! These perfumes last YEARS because you only need a teeny tiny bit each day. GAH I love them so much I just run by the local street sales during the 4th of July (in Provo) and the 24th of July (in Spanish Fork) and his tent is usually there. If you go I'd suggest using cash, last year our card somehow got charged 3 times, and he was not too happy about it lol. I'm crossing my fingers that he's there this year because I knocked a good three over and broke them :( so I'm in need of some of these babies! I SWEAR ON THESE PERFUMES PEOPLE! (Hopefully this year I'll get his business card so I can post details later)

Disclaimer: I don't know what chemicals go in these, so if you're worried about that sort of thing I'd go over to his tent and ask him. He's super friendly. 

My go to scent when I'm in a crazy rush in the morning is: BURBERRY BODY
This stuff is VERY strong, you only want to spray about 1 - 3 sprays, I learned this the hard way... My skin doesn't hold scents very well so I'm used to spraying quite a bit. I sprayed like 5 sprays one day and people had a hard time being around me because it was so strong HA HA (embarrassing) 

I like muskier scents and this one is VERY musky. I was told by my older sister that I smelled kind of like perfumed cigarettes, but that's okay because my other older sister happens to love it. I've also gotten compliments by loads of people on this one when I'd cashier for Big 5 Sporting Goods. Every time I wear this I'm asked what perfume I'm wearing. 

This is the kind of stuff you could wear naked and feel that much more sexy. Um hello just look at the add for this stuff with Rosie. Just saying... 

The bottle is GORGEOUS and really easy to hold, but I'd suggest putting it somewhere where it will NEVER get bumped because it topples over very easily! This bottle has lasted me over a year and a half now.

I'm obsessed with CHANEL perfumes because, like I said, I love muskier scents.

Chanel has some how figured out the perfect balance of musk, femininity, and grace in their women's perfumes.

CHANEL MADEMOISELLE I wear to church, my office job, weddings, my husbands work parties, or any nice event. The best way I can describe it is it has a more masculine smell with a tint of feminine. It almost smells like a flowery pine tree. It's like they've captured the best of natures scent and put it in a very pretty minimalist bottle. EEP I just can't say enough for this perfume. It's glorious.

BLEU DE CHANEL

Is actually a mens cologne. I bought it for my husband, and every time he wears it I just want to kiss that handsome face! It's a very handsome smell. The best way I can describe is, it's what everyone wishes water smelled like. IDK? That's just the way I think of it. When you're so thirsty you just want to smell the fresh scent of water, just to be disappointed in smelling absolutely nothing. Next time just picture this stuff and your mouth will water! I will occaisnoly wear this when I really want my scent to stand out. So think, Clubbing (even though I don't 'club'), a formal dance, or even a cocktail dinner.

Women can indeed wear mens colognes, and even men can wear womens perfumes. 

LAST BUT NOT LEAST
MY NEW FAVORITE

My absolute favorite perfume has always been a toss up between CHANEL N○5 and CHANEL MADEMOISELLE

but... That may have to change.
Last night I made a very VERY smart decision when it came to purchasing ELIZABETH & JAMES, NIRVANA

OMG this scent is almost un-describable for me... The best way I can describe it is, it smells like a strong sexy independent woman. Which I think they were going for with their ad campaign MORE INFO HERE. When I read about this perfume in Mary-kates and Ashleys release I thought the bottle looked 'off' and really plain, but now that I have it I'm obsessed with it's chic minimalist design. In hand it almost looks like a very chic cigarette case (even though I don't smoke) OR even a big cigarette lighter ha! But it's GORGEOUS. Now this one is the WHITE scent I'm not quite sure how the black is, but I'm sure it's just as lovely. I believe this one is the more feminine scent. If it's too flowery for you then black is the one you'll want to get.

This perfume I would wear on a more every day basis, however- I would not be opposed to wearing it on a fancy night out.

It smells SO good I'm afraid to wear it because I never want it to run out. Which has only happened to me with C. No. 5 and MADEMOISELLE... Soooo HERE'S TO NEW LOVELY SCENTS. CHEERS!
